Hermes Ambre Narguile is a luxurious fragrance that captures the essence of relaxation and indulgence. The scent was inspired by the traditional Middle Eastern pastime of smoking a water pipe or narghile and features amber, tobacco, and spices notes.

Ambre Narguile

At the top of the fragrance, the spicy and warm notes of cinnamon and black pepper give the perfume a bold and striking opening. This is followed by a heart of rich, smoky tobacco, which adds depth and complexity to the scent. Finally, the base of the fragrance is anchored by the warm, resinous notes of amber, which give the perfume a soft and sensual finish.

This fragrance is incredible, even for Hermes standards! Gourmand fans will enjoy the opening burst of sugary sweetness provided by honey and cinnamon (notes that persist through the fragrance’s drydown). Amber (I think the amber in this one smells like rum and raisins, and it has kind of a gummy feel to it, really lovely) and sweetened tobacco, along with other dessert spices, become more prominent as the aroma develops. It begins as a gourmand but develops into an oriental, making it hard to categorize. But it does have Ellena’s stamp because even though he uses rich, opulent notes, Ambre Narguile still possesses the same translucent feeling most of Ellen’s masterpieces have.

Despite the lack of complexity, this is one of the most expertly blended fragrances I’ve ever smelled. It has a robust body and excellent durability, projection, and sillage without being overly opaque or sweet. This is the finest calming perfume for a perfect autumn or winter stroll in the town. It’s pretty sensual and makes me think of snuggling up with a loved one and sharing a warm apple pie under a thick blanket by the fireplace.

Overall, Hermes Ambre Narguile is a refined and seductive fragrance ideal for individuals who appreciate the finer things in life. It’s perfect for evening wear and will turn heads everywhere you go. This perfume will transport you to a world of luxury and indulgence whether you are out on the town or simply relaxing at home.
