Perfume is a luxury but of all luxurious things, it is the most affordable. Ordinary folk often can’t afford the things kings, movie stars, billionaires have. Villas, expensive cars, five-star hotels, Louis Vuitton bags, private stables…all those things are unaffordable except for one – the perfume. Perfumes are that little something that brings together a boy from Vracar and George Clooney, or a mother of three and Grace Kelly. Creed perfumes are often either inspired by or worn by celebrities exclusively before finding their place in art perfume shops all over the world. There probably is no other brand so popular among Hollywood stars. And now, I present to you: Perfumes celebrities wear, for sure.

I have been reading about Creed perfumes, and perfumes celebrities wear for years and the stories about the special way the infusions are made, the tradition that hasn’t changed in 250 years and has been transferred from father to son for seven generations, the secret and elusive ingredients, all those things sparked my boyish imagination, both when I was a teen entering the perfume world and now, when I’m in it. Sadly, Serbia has been lost for many things that came from abroad and my euphoria when Creed appeared in Belodore was the same as my euphoria when Belgrade and Novi Sad became open for world-famous bands concerts like Madonna and Rolling Stones. I am so glad Belgrade is becoming a metropolis in the perfume sense as well, where an ordinary guy from New Belgrade can try out and buy perfumes worn by John Kennedy, King George, and emperor Franz-Joseph.

I love it when I get the proper spritz of Aventus! I believe it should be nearly indetectable until someone is welcome in your personal space. Too much and you can smell like a teenager who puts on cologne thinking if a little is good, then a lot is better. I am amused at teens and aggressive businessmen who are competing with their peers for alpha status. I don’t want to smell like a teen or a businessman. They have yet to discover subtlety and grace. I am a pastor, not a teen, pugnacious businessman, or even da stately gentleman but the office of minister should carry a measure of polite dignity, even in the cologne he may reservedly wear.
I really wanted to like Green Irish Tweed, (what a great name!) but it didn’t mix well with my own scent. I would love to try some other Creed colognes but they are pricey. That is why my bottle of Aventus has lasted me almost ten years.
